**Activities:** In its first year ALM Welfare Trust has helped deserving families and individuals by distributing money to alleviate some of their problems through financial assistance and also made a lump sum payment to Ummah Welfare Trust which is itself a charitable organisation and is active in various parts of the world, particularly in the Asian sub continent.
