The trust has entered into an agreement with the Council whereby the trust undertakes to deliver recreational and other leisure activities at various leisure facilities which are owned and leased by the Council as a step forward in creating a more active and healthy Torfaen with sport/physical activity at the heart of our communities.
Objects: 3 Objectsthe Objects Of The Charity (The "Objects") Are:3.1 To Promote The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants;3.2 To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing And Promoting Facilities And Organising Activities For The Playing Of Sport;3.3 To Promote The Advancement Of The Physical Education And Healthy Recreation Amongst Young People Not Undergoing Formal Education;for The Benefit Of The Public (And In Particular, But Not Limited To, The People Of Torfaen County Borough Council)
