## **Morecambe Community Church Annual Report 2020/2021** 

This financial year for our church, like many others in the UK has been the year of Covid 19 with worship services or gathering not taking place in real time or in the same physical place. 

We had already last year set up virtual churches services, either as prerecorded services which were up loaded to You Tube for transmission at 11am on the Sunday morning and this continued into the start of this year. 

We then progressed to having live Zoom meetings for our Sunday morning worship, where our members could join in, where ever they were and participate if they had suitable computer equipment. For those who didn’t, they could still watch the live streaming though You Tube and provide comments thorough the Live Chat facility on this platform. 

Having mastered Zoom meeting by September 2020, it provided an opportunity to other Church meetings to take place; such as a regular Wednesday night weekly prayer meeting and discussion group and conducting Trustee’s meeting when needed. 

By these means we have attempted to maintain contact with all our congregation and still provide the support both emotionally and practically during these difficult times. 

Our church motto is Faith Hope and Love, that thing will improve in the future for all of us.
