**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE CARING FOR A PARENT OR SUPPORTING A PARENT CARING FOR A SIBLING, WHO OTHERWISE WOULD MISS OUT ON THE NORMAL TRANSITIONAL YEARS OF ADOLESCENCE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY, PROVIDING SUPPORT TO RELIEVE THE STRESSES EXPERIENCED BY YOUNG CARERS AND OFFERING RESPITE, FUN AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES WHICH THEY MAY OTHERWISE NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS.

**Activities:** GYGYC offers age-specific peer support groups for Young Carers aged 5 to 21 who are caring for their parents or supporting their parents in caring for a sibling. Through targeted activities that offer support, respite, fun and learning opportunities, facilitated by Youth Workers offering support with their coping mechanisms and strategies to improvement their physical and mental health.
