We have attended several callouts to search for vulnerable missing people - both in
Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties.
Our members have also participated in fundraising activities including the provision
of event first aid cover.
Financial review
During the financial year we focussed on increasing our reserves following the
impact of Govid on fundraising. The financial risks we fa￿ are replacement costs of
vehicles and key equipment, should they require decommisioning.
The charity's policy on reserves
We hold a separate account for reserves. Periodically, funds over this balance are
transferred to the separate reserves account. Rèserves are required for the following
four main reasons..
(a) saving for a Pe￿nanent premises",
(b) vehicle replacement COSts;
(c) covering day to day expenses to meet cashfiow challenges and"
(d) to cover unexpected charrtable income loss.
In addition in 2022 we introdU￿d a 3 year operational costs reserve to ensure that
should an event like Covid hit again we have reserves to remain operational at a
minimum level.
