In planning our activities for the year we keep in mind the charity commission guidance on public benefit at our trustees meetings. The focus of our activities remains in the coaching and playing of association football. 

We also try to concentrate on the merits of team building amongst all age groups. This is particularly important in the younger children as they take their first steps into team environment. Through the adoption of a code of conduct we encourage the development of children’s social, moral and cultural circumstances.

We welcome all children regardless of personal situations, background or ethnicities.

A fantastic contribution is made by all volunteers. 

The Club is grateful for the large amount of hours Volunteers have spent coaching, fund raising and organisation so that the children can play and enjoy there football in a safe environment.

Without the valuable contributions of their time, energy, skills and effort we would not be able to provide the children with the opportunity they receive. 

Any surplus funds which are not needed to pay for activities, equipment and other items for the benefit of the Club are placed in the bank account to earn interest were applicable.

Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main** We have once again achieved an increase in children taking part in club **achievements of the charity** activities during the year. . **during the year** This has seen the members training and playing rise to 264 .This is continual increase year on year The younger ones attend development and coaching sessions in readiness to join a team to enter a league in the following period. The teams play in the local leagues in North Lincolnshire for juniors and also enter the cup competitions. We play in age groups for Under7 (3 teams), Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 (3 teams), Under 11, Under 12, Under 13 (2 teams) and Under 16. 4 girls teams play at Under 8, Under10, Under 11 and Under 12 either in Lincolnshire or East Riding leagues. Playing Field Land The ownership of the land was transferred from North Lincolnshire Council to the Trustees of Barton Junior Football Club on 17 June 2015. This will enable the Club to use the facilities to their own advantage. Fund Raising Once again all Fund raising activities were cancelled due to lockdowns in respect of the Covid pandemic Sponsorship We are greatly indebted to local Companies in sponsoring of playing kits so each team has a distinctive kit to play. All teams now have the Barton Junior Football Club emblem on their kit together with the sponsors name or logo. Ground All maintenance of the ground with the exception of gang mowing is undertaken by volunteers who continue to give their time freely to maintain the ground and mark out all pitches now totally 4 so that all teams enjoy the best of facilities. Football Association Charter The Club has been a Charter Club for a number of years and successfully completed their Annual Health Check to remain a Charter Club Youth Organisation The Club is classed as a Youth Organisation by the Local Authority and have successfully renewed Baysgarth Sports Village The Club are partners in this project which provides safe winter training on a 3G pitch when our ground is unavailable due to weather conditions

We hold cash at the Bank of £64834.54 all of which is unrestricted funds. These are held in order to meet any unforeseen expenditure that may occur and also to authorise Expenditure on the Ground as required.

Future Plans 

Emphasis on more Children partaking in training and playing of Association Football We have increased the number of teams and are always planning for additional teams 

In these difficult times it is very hard to plan ahead. However we are concentrating in ensuring that the children have opportunities to train and play where restrictions allow. All fund raising activities are on hold.
