ectives and activities
We are a scout group who was founded in 1908 and cover all sections of
the scouting movement. These are beavers, cubs and scouts. We cover
a broad range of activities involving community projects. the health and
well being and development of young through a structured system which
has been proven over the last 100 years.

In a nonnal year, the Beaver, Cub & Scout sections meet on a weekly
basis throughout the school term times to have fun & learn a wide variety
of different things in a safe environment.
The sections do traditional scouting activities like fire lighting, pioneering,
camping, hiking, map reading and general enjoyment of immersion in the
outdoors.
At the same time they leam about being part of a team, and, as they
progress through the sections, about leading, teaching & taking
responsibility for the younger members of Iheir Patrol or Six (in Cubs).

In addition the trustees ensure the scout hut is maintained and improved

Achievements and performance
The main achievements are:
1S1 Buxton Cubs. Beavers and Scouts continue to be very popular & all
full to max capacity plus have waiting lists.
This reflects thal 1 St Buxton has excellent section leaders with active
programmes.
Young people today have plenty of choice of clubs and activities to fill
their lime & we are proud so many choose us.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (°the Trust") for the year ended 3111212024.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

basis of report
Independent I have completed my examination. I confinri that no material matters have
examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the fom and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
