and the reserves policy is reviewed annually.
Prlncipal lundlng 8ourc•s
The charity ralses funds from voluntary income. fundraising events, thè provision of services and 9rant aid
funding.
Fundralslng
Sects'on 162a of the Charities Act 2011 requires charilles lo make a statemenl regarding fundraising activities.
Although we do not undertake widespread fundraising from the general public, the legislation defines fund
raising as 'soliciting or otherwise procuring money or olher property for charitable purposes.. Such amounts
receivable are presented in our accounts as 'voluntary income" and include legacies and grants.
In relation lo the above we confimi that all solicitations are managed Intemally. without involvement of
commercial participators or professional fund-raisers, or third partles. The day to day management of all income
generation 18 del•9ated to Ihe executive team of Hampshire Stadium Limiled, are accountable to the
trustees.
The charity is not bound by any undertaklng to be bound by any regulatory scheme and the charity does nol
consider it necessary to compty with any voluntary code of practice.
We have received no complaints in relation to fundraising activities. Our terms of employmènt réqulre staff to
behave reasonably at all times, and as we do nol approach individuals for funds we do not consider it necèssary
to design specrfic procedures to monitor such aclivilles.
The Foundation would like to lake this opportunity to expréss its gratitude to Persimmon Homes, Rod
Bransgrove and the Maxwell Family for their klnd and generous donations made durin9 the year.
Rlgk Managom•nt
The major risk to the charity is securin9 continuing support from Hampshire Stadium Limited which currently
provides operational and delivery facilrties and makes financial contributions to Ihe charity. Maintaining the
r•lalionship wth Hampshire Stadium Limited is a key priority for the charity and reports of the charity's vKrk are
made to Hampshire Stadium Limited Directors on a monthly basis.
Alongside this relationship managemenl. creating a sustainable unrestricted income generation stream
continues to be a key objective of the Income generation stTategy. The Trustees consider that the charity has
an adequate level of reSe￿e8.
Golng Concern
The Trustees have given due regard to the going eoncem assumption and have concluded that the positive
level of general resenies. a healthy cash balance, the reduced level of fixed costs and the continued support
from Hampshire Cricket Company Limited, means that the going concern basis remains appropriate of Ihese
financial statements. Further details ￿gardIng Ihe adoption of the going concern basis can be found in Note 2.2
