The twslees retain all decision making powers and delegate specific roles and responsibilities as detailed in the minutes of Trustee meetings. The Tfustees rely upon the excellent celalionship wth the Senior Management Teams of both Hampshire Stadium Limited and the Hampshire Cricket Board Limited to guide the day to day activities of the charity in both fundraising and delivery. The k•y management personnel are Rod Bransgrove and David Mann, trustees of the Foundation. Actlvltlas and Objectives Objectlvos of the Hampshirn Crfcket Foundatlon. To Improve outcomes for disadvantaged individuals or group8 amongst our communities by.. In 2024 we donated £35,000 to the Hawks Academy Programme covering first ¢la3s coaching costs, kit and equipment. To date we have funded the Hampshire Hawks Academy projects at Cantell School in Soulhampton, Brighton Hill School in Baslngstoke and the Priory School in Portsmouth, to orn we donated an additional £20,000 in 2024 to a39i3t with the installation of their new crlcket nets. We believe that the donations made by the Foundation are playing a hug8 role in our r8gion in breaklng dovm the bafriers of entry to participate in Cricket and Increasing participation throughout the region. A positive 'Halo Effecf of the Hampshire HavA(s programme i¥ the de3ire for parents of players to gain accredited coachlng qualifications which were funded by Hampshire Cricket Foundalion facilitating the organlc growth of cricket in areas where w8 have launched our Hawks programmes, Donatlons to Hampshlr• Crlckot Board We were proud to support our partner¥, Hampshire Cricket Board, with a donation of £27,000 in the year to fund their Summer School Meals, Walking Cfickel and the Mini4aMpshi Hawks Regional Coaching programmes. Support for Raglonal charltl•$ and The 81g Glv• The foundation also donated £20.000 to the NHS Southampton Hospltals Charty Lighthouse appeal during the year. Soulhampton Hospitals Charity's "Light the South" art trail was a fundraising event featuring 40 Ilghthouse Sculptures displayed across Southampton and Cowes. The trail, which ran from July 13 to September 1. 2024. involved 8ft sculplures designed by local and national artists, a3 well a¥ "Little Lights" created by schools and community groups. The goal was to raise money for Southampton Children's Hospital, with the sculptures sold by auclioned in September 2024. The Foundation also supported the Big Give inlliative wlth a donatlon of £50,000 Nthlch was matched by the Reed Foundats'on to provide a total donation of £100.000 and vthich. In tum, 8ncouraged additlonal donations during the Big Give process. Altogether, this resulted in over £421,028 of new funding for important local charities and causes including Hedge End Food Bank, Alfie's Wish. Motiv8 South. Charity reserves are monitored at each trustee meeting and the reserves policy is reviewed annually. Fundralslng Sects'on 162a of the Charities Act 2011 requires charilles lo make a statemenl regarding fundraising activities. Although we do not undertake widespread fundraising from the general public, the legislation defines fund raising as 'soliciting or otherwise procuring money or olher property for charitable purposes.. Such amounts receivable are presented in our accounts as 'voluntary income" and include legacies and grants. In relation lo the above we confimi that all solicitations are managed Intemally. without involvement of commercial participators or professional fund-raisers, or third partles. The day to day management of all income generation 18 del•9ated to Ihe executive team of Hampshire Stadium Limiled, are accountable to the trustees. The charity is not bound by any undertaklng to be bound by any regulatory scheme and the charity does nol consider it necessary to compty with any voluntary code of practice. We have received no complaints in relation to fundraising activities. Our terms of employmènt réqulre staff to behave reasonably at all times, and as we do nol approach individuals for funds we do not consider it necèssary to design specrfic procedures to monitor such aclivilles. The Foundation would like to lake this opportunity to expréss its gratitude to Persimmon Homes, Rod Bransgrove and the Maxwell Family for their klnd and generous donations made durin9 the year. Rlgk Managom•nt The major risk to the charity is securin9 continuing support from Hampshire Stadium Limited which currently provides operational and delivery facilrties and makes financial contributions to Ihe charity. Maintaining the r•lalionship wth Hampshire Stadium Limited is a key priority for the charity and reports of the charity's vKrk are made to Hampshire Stadium Limited Directors on a monthly basis. Alongside this relationship managemenl. creating a sustainable unrestricted income generation stream continues to be a key objective of the Income generation stTategy. The Trustees consider that the charity has an adequate level of reSee8. Golng Concern The Trustees have given due regard to the going eoncem assumption and have concluded that the positive level of general resenies. a healthy cash balance, the reduced level of fixed costs and the continued support from Hampshire Cricket Company Limited, means that the going concern basis remains appropriate of Ihese financial statements.
