**Objects:** THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PEOPLE FROM THE BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC COMMUNITIES, PRINCIPALLY IN, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE LONDON BOROUGHS OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA, WESTMINSTER AND HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM, IN PARTICULAR BY1. PROVIDING A FORUM FOR VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY ORGANISATIONS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES TO 1.1. STUDY AND RESEARCH THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ISSUES WHICH AFFECT THEM 1.2. DISSEMINATE THE FINDINGS OF THE RESEARCH TO IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH1.3. RAISE AWARENESS OF THESE HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ISSUES AND PROVIDE THEM WITH SUPPORT1.4. COMMUNICATE, NETWORK AND PROVIDE LINKS AND BUILD CAPACITY WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS, RESEARCH/ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS AND FUNDING AGENCIES TO INFLUENCE POLICY AND DECISIONS AFFECTING THEM.2. INFORMING POLICY, LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY, AND ASSISTING IN THE PROMULGATION OF EFFECTIVE POLICIES AND GOOD PRACTICES, 2.1. SO AS TO CONTRIBUTE TO IMPROVED HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR THE PEOPLE FROM THE BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC COMMUNITIES 2.2. SO THAT HEALTH SERVICES ARE ABLE TO MEET THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS.

**Activities:** The BME Health Forum is a local charity governed by a partnership of statutory, voluntary and community organisations committed to reducing health inequalities and aims to reduce health inequalities and improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people from deprived communities and ensure that health and social care policies and service development are informed by the views of local communities.
