The object of the Charity is to relieve the needs of people with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions in particular but not exclusively motor neurone disease and their families and carers in Hartlepool and surrounding areas as the Trustees shall determine. 

The main objectives undertaken for the public benefit are to provide support, information and therapies to people with Multiple Sclerosis and their carers and families with regards to guidance issued by the Charity Commission. 

Achievements and Performance. 

Due to Covid regulations and the vulnerability of our Members, many who are classed as extremely vulnerable we have been unable to meet up or carry out any of the services we offered on a regular basis. 

We have kept in touch but have found it extremely difficult to try to find a suitable meeting place or even to meet up outside.  Individual Members have kept in touch with each other and provided support to each other but we have avoided crowded places. 

Financial Review 

The Group does not have a policy on Reserves but the Trustees have always been aware of the necessity of to keep a satisfactory amount in Reserve without compromising further the service we provide.
