Our annual visual arts festival promotes the medieval
churches on the Romney Marsh as accessible and
inclusive spaces for creatives to explore and create
ambitious works.
We provide an educational programme that
celebrates the surrounding landscape and
environment raising
awareness for the need to conserve and protect it.
This year , we worked with local weavers to provide
workshops on how to spin local wool and how to use
a simple loom to make a pattern and colour. We were
able to deliver a series of weaving workshops at
Brookland Primary school as a reward for sitting their
SAT ’s exams

We exhibited important Black British
artists and artists who identify as non
binary. The artworks were multi media
ranging from metalwork to crochet
sculptures.The work was centred on
Bringing diverse and inclusive
Representations to fve rural locations in
Kent. We also displayed the creative
outcomes from creative workshops delivered
to year 7 and 8 at Brookland school. We also
included a performance event to celebrate
recycling clothing and developed into a
fashion show to demonstrate an imaginative
approach to clothing for all ages.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 01/04/2024

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
