Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document Para 1.17 The CIO's objects are restricted to the fostering of the public's knowledge, experience and appreciation of chamber music and thereby the advancement of the arts, culture and education for the public benefit, including by means of: (a) organising an annual public festival of chamber music concerts in the town of Lewes, East Sussex, and the surrounding area; (b) organising public concerts of chamber music elsewhere in England and Wales; (c) organising performances of chamber music for school children in Lewes and the surrounding area; and (d) providing opportunities to students of music who have demonstrably excelled in their art to perform in concerts of chamber music alongside professional musicians.

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	The Festival has net expenditure of £1,925 for the year. This is due to the scale of the Festival in 2024, which had a higher than usual number of musicians which increased all the costs, particularly musicians fees and accommodation.

		I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
		charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31stAugust 2024.
Responsibilities and		As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
basis of report		accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
		(“the Act”).
		I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out
		under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I	under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
		have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
		under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent		I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
