Trustees Report:
In the year 2023-24 the Symondsbury School Fund remained dormant pending closure.
The intention ws for the active community fundraising group, the Friends of Symondsbury School, to apply for charity status.
The new Friends charity has now been established and is the primary registered charity for the School, managing grants and utilising Gift Aid where possible. The Symondsbury School Fund will be closed and residual funds returned to the school.
The Rebecca Harris Memorial Fund is now dormant and final balance is dur to be paid to Symondsbury School in respect of investment in Forest School training. Due to inactivity of the Fund, a single Trustee meeting and AGM was held during the year.
