Funding fiom Arts Council England was secured for three years as part of mc , a consortium of museums made up of Bodmin Keep, Falmouth Art Gallery, Museum of Cornish Life, Penlee House, PK Porthcurno, Royal Cornwall Museum and Wheal Marlyn. This provided funding for the Community Engagement Curator, Museum Assistant Engagement (with a Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship at Truro College) and Museum Assistant Collections (as part of a Work Placement from the University of Exter) funded by Arts Council England, During the year Isobel King, the Community Engagement Curator focused on expanding our audiences and in continuing to grow our interactions with early years, families, schools and older people.
