**Objects:** 1) TO RELIEVE DISTRESS AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST FAMILIES BEREAVED DUE TOMURDER AND MANSLAUGHTER WITHIN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREASINCLUDING THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS OF SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED(2) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PREVENTION OF SERIOUS CRIME,PARTICULARLY KNIFE CRIME.IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE THE CHARITY WILL IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY:- PROVIDE UNDERSTANDING PEER TO PEER SUPPORT, GROUP MEETINGS, FACILITIESOFFERING MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES-EDUCATE PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH MENTAL DISABILITIES DUE TO THE AFTERMATH OFBEREAVEMENT DUE TO VIOLENT CRIME HELPING TO IMPROVE A BETTER WORK ETHIC.-TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS TO ISSUES RELATING TO PROBLEMSFACED BOTH MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY BY VICTIMS FAMILIES-THE PROMOTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND GREATER PUBLICPARTICIPATION IN TACKLING KNIFE AND GUN CRIME AND OTHER CRIME RELATINGCOMMUNITY ISSUES AND CONCERNS

**Activities:** We support families bereaved due to violent crime in the Nottinghamshire and East Midlands area.Offering one to one peer support at our Nottingham and Nottinghamshire offices,working with families referred to us from FLO's,Victim Support and self referrals.We also engage in fighting serious crime including knife crime.
