I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/07/2024.
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or

the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
TRINITY WORLD MINISTRIES TRUST is a charitable trust governed by its trust deed executed on the 18[th] of April 2012. It was registered as a charity with the Charity Commission on the 22[nd] April 2013.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The objectives of the organisation, as set out in its governing document are:

i. to advance the Christian religion, by means of, but not exclusively, provision of facilities for worship and prayer, provision of facilities for bible study and education, and the provision of ceremonies and religious counselling, in the manner thought fit by the trustees from time to time;
-
ii. to advance education for the benefit of the poor, the underprivileged and people in need in the UK and abroad, by means of, but not exclusively, the provision of educational programmes and facilities, such as supplementary schools and training centres, as the trustees think fit;
-
iii. to relieve financial hardship among the poor, the underprivileged, the orphans, victims of natural and man-made disasters, and people in need, by means of, but not exclusively, making grants or loans for providing or paying for items, equipment, services and facilities for the benefit of the said persons;

iv. to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life;

v. to relieve sickness and to preserve good health among the poor, underprivileged and people in need in the uk and abroad, by means of, but not exclusively, the provision or assistance in the provision of services, facilities, equipment, clinics, medicines or grants for medical diagnosis and treatment, and provision of health education.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
TRINITY WORLD MINISTRIES TRUST has successfully delivered a programme of spiritual upliftment for Christians and non-Christians in the UK through talks and gatherings. A regular Sunday prayer gathering service served 50 people. In addition, we provided hot food weekly benefiting over 40 people to those in hardship. We continued to provide religious guidance and counselling via phone contact to many Christians to deal with issues encountered by them in their personal and social lives.
PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT
The Trustees have considered the general guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity Commission and has taken due regard of that guidance. The Trustees consider that they are satisfied that the charity’s activities have benefited the public as it has allowed Christians to develop greater spirituality and helped to meet the basic necessities needs for needy people in the UK.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
TRINITY WORLD MINISTRIES TRUST secured funds for their activities and which were largely comprised of cash donations from trustees and other philanthropists and gift aid. The majority of the costs this period were on rent, speakers fees and catering. A total of £44,149 was raised as income. Total expenses for the period amounted to £46,817 which resulted in a deficit of £2,668 which was met with prior year surpluses. At the end of the period, the charity had reserves of £1,146.
PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS
The charity would like to continue to develop their services further by attracting more people and users. This will help to meet the needs of the public.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRUSTEES
The charity's trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees are required to:

select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
-
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP;
-
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;
-
state whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material
-
departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements;
-
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation.

lhe trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993 and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 and any amendment ot re-enacment thereof, The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
