November			LYCJunior Boys and London Youth Choir held open rehearsals, allowing
			prospective members to come and try out the choir for free. Both choirs gained
			three new members immediately, with one person also joining LYC Chamber
			Choir.
			Four LYC members were recorded as part of BBC's Children in Need singing	Rise
			Up at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. This was broadcast on Friday 19November,
			with the performance available on YouTube.
			Members of LYC South East and LYC Cambiata Girls performed at the launch
			party of high street retailer TK Maxx's 2021 Christmas Advert, and were all given
			sparkly boots for the occasion!
			Medhurst Media visited rehearsals to record all choirs singing Seasons of Love
			from the musical Rent, a special arrangement wriffen for LYC by our pianist Dan
			Moriyama. The subsequent videos, a two-minute Big Give teaser and the full-
			length song, helped us to raise over $109,000 in our Big Give Christmas online
			appeal in December.
			LYCChamber Choir performed at a special Christmas PR event at LEGO Store
			Leicester Square.
			LYC Chamber Choir recorded their Live from London performance of Let it Snow
			at the Gresham Centre in London. This is aired at the beginning ofApollo5's
			concert on 11 December, through the Voces8 produced series.
December			London Youth Choir and LYC Chamber Choir members sang carols at the
			Queen's House ice rink in Greenwich.
			LYC Chamber Choir and LYC South East members performed at the Christmas
			party ofConvex Insurance Group.
			LYCChamber Choir performed at the Curriers' Carol Service at St Michael
			Paternoster Royal.
			LYC's Festive Concert Seasons of Love in the City took place at City of London
			School, our partner and rehearsal venue. LYC West, LYC Junior Boys, LYC
			Cambiata Girls and London Youth Choir all performed. The sold-out show was		a
			delight affer two years ofno LYC concerts.
			LYC South East performed at the Carol Service of their rehearsal venue, City Hope
			Church in South Bermondsey.
			Sadly LYC's second Festive Concert Seasons of Love in Shoreditch at Shoreditch
			Town Hall was cancelled, as the venue had too many staff away ill or isolating
			due to Covid. Instead, LYC held an informal carol sing-along on Zoom, including
			streaming a photo montage ofthe term's activities, sound-tracked by LYC
			Chamber Choir's recording of Let it Snow.
January			Following auditions, a further 26 new members joined LYC.
2022
February			Open rehearsal evenings were held for LYC South East and LYCWest. 9new
			members joined LYC West immediately affer this event, with several more signed
			up to start with the new term in April.

March				LYC West, LYC Junior Girls and London Youth Choir performed at Cadogan
				Hall with Wylie East High School from Texas. The programme included Cecilia
				McDowall's Everyday Wonders: The Girl from Aleppo.
				Online Open Evening: A Zoom event for parents, guardians, school and music
				teachers, to come and hear more about encouraging young people to join LYC,
				and what we offer.
				LYC Cambiata Girls performed a pop-up performance at the Southbank Centre
				as part ofthe Women ofthe World Festival, showcasing a programme of music
				composed by women.
				LYCChamber Choir performed at Westminster Abbey to celebrate
				Commonwealth Day. The Duke and Duchess ofCambridge and then Prime
				Minister, Boris Johnson attended the prestigious event.
				An informal musical sharing for LYC families at Holy Sepulchre Church, featuring
				LYC Junior Boys, LYC Junior Girls, LYC Cambiata Girls and LYCCambiata Boys.
April				Bach's StJohn Passion performance with English Touring Opera, featuring LYC
				Junior Girls, LYC Junior Boys and London Youth Choir.
June - July				20 LYC members appeared at the Platinum Party at Buckingham Palace as part
				ofthe Jubilee Celebrations, performing 'Any Dream Will Do' with Jason Donovan.
				Singing in the City, a series of pop-up performances funded by the City of
				London Corporation's'Inspiring London through Culture' grant programme,
				saw LYC perform at Leadenhall Market, The Sky Garden, Pitzhanger Manor and
				Gallery, Devonshire Square and UBS,5Broadgate.
				Young Composers Day: 30Junior LYC members had the opportunity to join a
				workshop day led by Brenda Raffray, allowing them to explore the process of
				composing, and inspiring them to write their own songs.
"Since returning to in person rehearsals in Autumn 2021 my favourite memory with LYC has
to		be recording 'Let it snow' at the Voces8 centre for the Live from London Festival (video
	below).		Voces8 are a huge inspiration to me and I have listened to their recordings on
repeat for				years so recording in the same place where they make their videos felt really
				special —like we were Voces8 for an evening!"
