**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE RESIDING IN GATESHEAD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY DEVELOPING KEY LITERACY SKILLS WITH THE AIM OF ADVANCING EDUCATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS AND LIFE SKILLS.

**Activities:** Bringing Words to Life (BWtL) is a literacy charity, founded by a  journalist and author. After a lengthy pilot study in a primary school, the engagement of the children through this alternative platform encouraged the development of  BWtL. The intention is to engage as many young people as possible with the processes, skills, and attitudes they need to enhance their literacy.
