The church is a charitable incorporated Organisalion (CIO) governed according to the consliiution daled l February 2016.
The church bccame charitabl¢ incorporatLd Or¥anisation ICIO) in April 2013 to lake forward lh¢ work of ihe unincotporaled
associalion. This decision was driven priniarily by the desire to thkc advantage of the separaic Icgal personality and limited
legal liability for Trustees.
Bethel United ChurLh of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) Sheffield CIO is currenily an Independent affiliate member of the Bethel
Uniied Churcli of Jesus Christ IApostolic) UK. which pursues similar aims and signposts local beneficiaries to our services.

,praycrs, scripture. music and singing.
Our dctivities lor the year are t"acilitated through the various auxiliary departments. When planning our actiN'ities consideration
is given lo the charity commission s guidance on public benefit and in particular ihe specific guidance for the advancement
of religion.

Hopewell Coffee Morning is managed by a group of volunleets from Bethel Church and the wider Shetyield Community.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trusl's accounls Ca￿led out under Section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my
examinalion I havc followcd all applicable Direciions giv¢n by the Charity Commission under Seciion 145{51{b) of the Act.
Revaluation of Property
There hag been a departure trom the accounting standards in respecl ot.the ongoing valuation ot the building. The building
was previously r¢valucd ahead of subs'tanlial repair works io ihc roof io facilitalc a loan to fund Ihe works. In line H'ith
accounting st<mdards. the building should be rel'alued each year by a compelenl and qualified individual. l am aw4ire that
elTorts have been made lo engage the services of a professional io cary out ihis exercise. though the cosls of the
r¢valuation, due to thc spccific nature of usc of thc building. h&s led io thc practical dccision to not incur these cosls.
As a resuli. the property held wiihin Fixed Assets may noi be valued accurately. The associated transaction would be an
increase or decrcase in the general unreslricted tiinds. This potenlial inaccuracy would not at7ecl any oihLr asp¢cl ol. the
Lharity, il docs not give rise to any movcmcnt in the c&%h balances. nor does li ¢ast doubt over the ability of the charity lo
continue operating into the future.
