## Activities

**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE GENERAL SOUTH LAKELAND AREA IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPLIES IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.

**Activities:** The Windermere Foodbank operates in the area from Grasmere in the north to Grange-over-Sands in the south, supporting the area not covered by the Barrow/Ulverston Foodbank on the west and the Kendal Foodbank on the east.  In co-operation with such organisations as Cumbria C. C. Social Services and the C.A.B. we give emergency food to people in need. Periods of help have been increased in pandemic.
