It has 3 main governing documents= The Holy Bible The Trust Deed registered on 02 January 2013 Church Constitution & Regulations adopted 02 January 2013 The church Board which is elected from the full members of the church is responsible for the running of the church. All church attendees are encouraged to become full members to be eligible for election. The method of appointment of the Church Board and Board of Trustees is set out in the conshtution of AFM IM IUKI. The church Board is responsible for formulating the charity's policies and programs for public benelit and meets regularly to review the progress of the church. Committees are also elected to oversee the running of the women's, men's and youth departments with these committees reporting to the church Board. The Trustees oversee the governance and compliance aspects of the charity and are responsible for submithng charity accounts to the Charity Commission and to ensure that charity funds are used in a transparent manner and in compliance with the Charity Commission regulations. The Board of Trustees would like to thank all the church members who volunteered and worked tirelessly ensuring the Charities Act 2011, the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2(X)8 and the provisions of the Trustees Deed are being adhered to. Public Benefit The Trustees have given due consideration to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. During the 12 months ended 31 March 2026, the charity continued to provide regular in-person Sunday church services, prayer sessions, Bible study, pastoral care and community-based ministry activities for members and the wider public. Daily intercessory prayer sessions and weekly Bible study sessions were all conducted virtually online throughout the 12 months. In-person youth development programmes, Svnday school programmes for children under the age of 12, support for widows and single mothers, baptism and child dedication services, wedding support, funeral support, couples, meetings and counselling continued during the reporting period. The charity also continued to provide charitable support for disadvantaged children in Africa, parbcularly in Zimbabwe, including support connected with education. Weekly Bible study sessions, prayer meetings and pastoral care continued throughout the year. The church maintained active fellowship groups, including the women's fellowship group, men's fellowship, couples, meetings, youth ministry and children's Sunday school. Aetivities Below are activities implemented in the reporhn8 period for 12 months ending 31st March 2026. Sunday Serviee Every Sunday, 4-hour church service of preaching, worshipping and praying. These services were conducted at a venue in Doncaster and were open to everyone - regular attendees and believers alike. For the reporting period, the average Sunday service attendance was 178 adults plus youth and 57 children. Different departments of the church such as the Praise and Worship Team, Information and Publicity, Ushering and Security, Hospitality and Decorations Team, Pastoral Team, Church Board (Elders and Deacons) all play important roles in delivering effective and spirit-filled services. Men's FelloTrvship The church conducts meetings for men with the objective of equipping men for their roles in families, the church and society at large. The AFMIM - Doncaster men, parhcipate in regional and national activities online and in person. During the reporhng period, the Men's meetings cover issues such as men's health, men and their families, men and money, men and careers, men and their roles in the church, among other things. Ladies, Fellojvship Similarly, monthly Ladies, Union activities are a key feature of the charity program of work. These activities also include regional and national conferences, all with the collective objective of empowering women with biblical principles for use in their roles in families, the church and the community. Some of the teachings at Ladies Union meetings during the reporting period were on parenting and raising children in a Christian environment, health and social care, a Christian womarb at home and in society, prayer, among other things. Children's Ministry AFMIM - Doncaster has a vibrant ministry for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years. Sunday school classes for this ministry were conducted every Sunday by DBS-checked teachers for an hour for different age groups. Children also participated virtually in regional and national activities. In the reporting period, AFMIM Doncaster had over 57 children in this Ministry. Edueating Disadvantaged Children in Afriea AFMIM UK- Doncaster continued to support disadvantaged primary and secondary school children in Africa, including children who are orphans or from families experiencing poverty. The funds used ft)r this project were raised voluntarily by church members and applied to support education-related needs. Prayer Ivteetings, Bible Studyg Mission$ and Cell GTOUPS Pastoral care, fellowship, church growth activities and weekly bible study session took place both in person and virtually online. These reserves help the charity manage unforeseen costs and fluctuations in donations without disrupting its charitable activities or exposing the charity to undue linancial risk. As of 31" March 2026, the free reserves were £110,514 and the Board continues to review reserves regularly and intends to consider the designation of surplus reserves towards the long-term objective of acquiring a church building.
