One of the most notable changes this year was our move to Thurston Community College for most of
our Sunday morning services. After the challenges of aintaining two identical morning services in our
previous space, this transition has allowed us to reunite as one Congregation on Sunday mornings.
The larger audrtorium has accommodated our growing numbers while relieving the significant burden
on our volunteers and staff, many of whom had sacrificially "doubled up. their service each week.
We're thankful for the good relationship with Thurston Community College.
Our Sunday evening gatherings continued throughout 2024. providing valuable opportunities for
deeper discipleship, equipping, and fellowship. Many of these evening gatherings have continued to
focus on practical aspects of living out our faith and addressing contemporary challenges through
biblical teaching.
Our Frlday Night Youth groups gained more moméntum towards th• end of 2024, with increasing
numbers of young people from both within the church and the wider communty. These groups have
provided a safe and fun environment where our youth can build meaningful relationships and engage
with the Gospgl message. It was with mixed emotions that we said farewell to our youth pastor Glen,
vtho moved to another FIEC church. While we were sad to see him go, we sent him with our blessing
and are grateful for the foundation he established in our children's and youth ministry. The transition
has been Smooth, and wa continue to see fruit in the lives of our young people.
This year, we held our fir8t ever church weekend away at Sizewell Hall, which proved to be a really
valuable time of fellowship, teaching, and spiritual refreshment for those who attended. The week8nd
strengthened relationships within our church family and provided dedicated time to focus on our
church Gommunity God away from the distractions of everyday lrfe.
Our On Goal football camp was another real success, reaching many people from the
communty who might not Othe￿1$e connect with our church. Through this sports ministry, we've
been able to share the Gospel in engaging ways. Additionally, our seasonal events and services
continued to be well-received throughout 2024. From Easter celebrations to Christmas seDiices,
these special gatherings provided meaningful moments for both regular attendee8 and visitors.
Throughout 2024, we have continued to grow in our understanding of the Bible through various
teaching series on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, 8nd in our Community Groups. These groups
have remained vital to our church lrfe, offering spaces for deeper Bible study, prayer, and mutual
support. We have continuèd to run Chrlstianity Explored and other introductory courses for those new
to the Christian faith.

There was another significant transition in our staff team as our business manager Ben Ryan stood
back and handed over his role to Graeme Thomas. Graeme, with his business background, has
sought to develop our structure5, HR processes, and policies. This transition has strengthened our
administrative foundation and enabled us to better support our growing ministries and stsff team. We
are grateful for Ben's service and for Graeme's willingness to step into this important role in a
consultative c8pacrty.
We are pleased to report that church finances have remained heatthy throughout 2024, allowing us to
meet the increasing demands of our growing church. We have continued our commitment to
supporting our mission partners both locally and globally, maintaining our financial contributions to
various initiatives.
Our staff team has continued to work hard and with enthusiasm, adapting to tha changes brought by
our move to Thurston Community College and responding to the needs of our growing congregation.
We remain deeply grateful for the countless volunteers who faithfully serve in various capacities, from
children's workers to musicians, from V￿lcOme team members to those preparing refreshments. and
many others who contribute to the life of our church.
As we look toward 2025, we do so with prayerful expectancy, trusting God to guide us inthe next
steps for our church family. We continue to seek His direction regarding our long-term facilities,
considering how best to accommodate our growing numbers while remaining good stewards of our
resources.
We remaln committed to our misslon of °Loving Jesus together and helping others to do the same,.
and we step into the new year with the confidence expressed in Hebrews 10.'23. Let us hold
unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful..
We thank God for His continued blessing on Bradfield and Rougham Baptist Church and
look forward to seeing how He will work in and through u6 in the coming year.
