## OPERA HOLLOWAY ## **Trustees Report 2019-20** REGISTERED CHARITY NO. 1151205 http://www.operaholloway.co.uk Holloway is a registered charity formed originally in 2009 and receiving CIO status in March 2013. This document summarises our activities for the year ending the 30th September 2020. - New trustees took over late last financial year. The chair is William Branston, and the other trustees are Samuel Oram, Johanna Keturah May Harrison and Laurie O’Brien. - This year’s accounts include the payment of the performer’s fees for our La Boheme production. At the time of producing last years accounts these payments had not yet been made. - The old Barclays bank account was closed, and all funds transferred to our new bank Tide. - Significant planning was made for a new production of Carmen. Auditions were held, and a cast was assembled. It was at this point that the COVID-19 lockdown was implemented, and all plans were very quickly put on hold. We only spent £339 in preparing for Carmen, thankfully we had enough funds in the bank to cover this. - Throughout this whole financial period, it became clearer and clearer that we would not be able to produce Carmen, our planned next production and therefor we cancelled all future plans. - At present we hope to produce a new show in the future but there is currently too much uncertainty. I confirm that this and the following CC16a is a true statement of activities for the year ended the 30th September 2020.
