under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an
independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibilty to..
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
to follow the prO￿ureS laid down in the general Directions given by the
Charity Commission (under section 145(5){b) of the Charities Ad, and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Ba81s of Independentmy examination was Ca￿led out in accordance with general Directions given
oxaminor's •latsm•nlby the Chanty Commission. An examination includes a review of the
accounting records kept by the Ghanty and a comparison of the a¢counts
presented wrth those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual
items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the
trustees conceming any such mattèrs. Th8 procedures undertaken do not
provide all the eviden￿ that would be reqUI￿d in an audit, and consequently
no opinion is grven as to whether the accounts present a Irue and fair, view
and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

The Bible Trust has a Safeguarding Policy, last reviewed in May 2024, to
protect everyone who is in any way connected wrth the Work of the Trust.

During 2024r25 the trustees decided that the objects of th8 Trust would be
best served by develoFMng the School for Discipleship which was fomied
under Lansdowne Churth, Boumemouth, and. wtih this in mind, Dr
Christopher Sinkinson, Rev Peter Baker and Mr Chnstopher Jack were
appointed as trustees on 20 June 2025.
Mr Robert Hicks and Mr Graham Barber resigned as trustees on 1 July 2025.
Mr David Combes and Mrs Trisa Mantell were appointed as Trustees on I
July 2025. The three remaining existing trustees, Mr8 Annabell8 Hicks. Mr
Trevor Dolby and Dr Paul Bennett. are expected to resign during 2025126 and
hand over their responsibiltties to trustees who are more closely associated
with the School for Discipleship.

Ob'ectives and activities
The advan￿ment of the Christian religion. in parts"cular but not exclusively
by creating and distributing Christsan literature in traditional (printed) and
ectronic (digrtal) fomats either at cost or free of charge.
Booklets introduang the gospels from the Bible have been distributed
through churches and other organisations showing the relevance of the
Chrisb'an religion to all members of the public.
Variants of the 'New Easy41ead Bible. and 'Gosp81 Story, have been
created comprising 365 seledions retold in story form from th8 English
Bible printed on dyslexic-friendly pastel Goloured pages. 'Meet Jesus,
books and Bible Gospels continue to be produced in easy reading format.
Books and publications produced by the Bible Trust and related
organisations, including a variant of the commentsry under the titl8 'Open
your Bible,, are also available on-line through various wetFsite companies
