Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

A Grant of £32500 was paid to the Student Christian Movement during the year to support it’s Faith In Action Project : £2500 in June 25 £25000 in September 25 £5000 in January 26
A one day Conference was held on 9 April 25 to mark the 80[th] anniversary of the murder of Dietrich Bonhoeffer by the Nazi government. The principal address was given by Bishop Martin Lind who travelled from Denmark to attend. The conference was also broadcast on broadband. The Council of Lutheran Churches donated £1300 in February 25 towards the cost of the event.
Three Online Seminars were held in October & November 25 on the theme “Bonhoeffer and the threat to Democracy today” with academic papers and discussion..
Bursaries :

A Grant of £2601 was paid to the Student Christian Movement in May 25 to be used as bursaries awarded to six participants in the SCM Bonhoeffer European Pilgrimage in July 25 which enabled participants to see the places and people who influenced him.

A Website is professionally maintained with the objective not only to make Project Bonhoeffer activities more widely known but also to direct enquiries to other on-line Dietrich Bonhoeffer resources.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 /01/2026.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
