Giving an Annual Grant to support the Student Christian Movement in it’s employment of staff in it’s Faith In Action project.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

A Grant of £48000 was paid to the Student Christian Movement In October 22 to enable the appointment of two half-time Faith In Action workers.

The 2022 Annual Conference “Faith and Frontiers” had to be postponed as the chosen date clashed with the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth.
It was successfully held online in February 23.

The Bursary Fund : A Grant of £2650 was paid to the Student Christian Movement in October 22 to enable a study tour to Dietrich Bonhoeffer sites in Berlin.

A Website is professionally maintained with the objective not only to make Project Bonhoeffer activities more widely known but also to direct enquiries to other on-line Dietrich Bonhoeffer resources.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 01/2023.
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or

the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
