of God Church (the charity) for the ended 31st December 2023. The Trustees Confirm that the annual
report and financial stslements ofthe charity comply with the CLTrrrenl statLrtory requirements, the
rèquirements of the charity's govemirKJ document and the provisions of the Statement of
Recommended Practice {SORP}"Accounting and Reporting by Charities- p￿parIng their accounts in
a¢cordan¢e with the Financial Reportln9 StarHlard appliCa￿e in the UK and Republic of Irejand {FRS
102) issued 16 July 2014.
STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
GOVERNING DOCUMENT
The charity is controlled by ils goveming documen( a deed of trust. and constitute5 an unincorporated
charity.
RISK MANAGEMENT
The trust&es have a duty to identify aTrd review the risks to which Ihe charty is exposed and to ensure
appropriate Controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and errer.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
OBJECTIVE AND AIMS
The objective for the charity is the adVan￿ment of the Chrisliarl Faith for the public benefit. in
arcordance with the doctrines Set out in the statement of faith.
The alleviation of ptsverty.
Help the youth stay away from drngs and gangs.

Assisting immigrants, espectalty in thè area of accommodation.

The main adiw'ties of the church are as follows..
Sunday servrce
Sunday schoolfor all ages of children
Weekly night Bible Studies and house fejlowships at vamus centres. Our seNces run virtual
(Zoom} and physicalty in church.
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT
The chur¢h Is gratefvl for the unstinting efforts of rts volunteers who are invdved in services
provision, office work and administrats"on.

INVESTMENT POUCY AND PERFORMANCE
The trustees have decided that at present. funds should be retaine<l in bank. Any change in such
banking arrangements Should be agreed by the board.
VULNERABLE BENEFICIARIES
The church works M4lh vulneraljle groups Ir￿lUdIng Children and make sure users are safe and
protected from hami. Vdunteers. employees and trustees have the right checks and assessments
before they can WOTk wth a chur¢h. Safeguards are in place to protect vulnerable people from abuse
and prevent abu* happening in the first Pl￿e.
CONFUCT OF INTEREStS
No trustee 15 in a position where theÈr dLty as a trustee wdl wn11ict with any personal interest fhey
may have.
OMPLAINTS HANDLING
We are commthd to ensuring that people have all necessary support required lo make a Complaint.
Cornplaints are accepted verbalty or in writing and can be fom)al or Informal. Anyone wishing to make
a complaint WTII be provided with a Complaints HandlFng StatemenL which summarises how a
complaint about our service can be made.

The church conb.nues to impact the cDngregants wth messages around their spirV(ual, and famity
growth and ways and means to namgate the challenges of life being offered wth Biljlicaj basis.
We engaged all segments olthe congregation. men, women, children, the married. the youths in all
areas (rf IrFe such as hèalth and well-being, finances. marriage with spiritual counseling offered as the
need8 arose.
Our spiriiual engag8ments I￿re through..
Daily Prayer Meeting, with the family, the nation, and wodd peace forming the focus of our
gatherings beNveen 18'.OOhr-19."OOhr.
Sunday Services. Our Sunday meetings were (yen to Visito￿ from our immediate environment.
Monthly Prayer meeting". Our piayeT programme for families conlinues monthly betsyeen 22'.OOhr
and 01'.OOhr on the last Fridays, wth various ministerB leadin9.

Homeless Outreach
We continue to engage with the homeless people in the Community who werÈ engaged
encouraged to attend our services or come in with their im￿ediate needs being attended to.
The engagement wth this group of people is lo ensure the rrsks of drug use are exKAained to
them as we encouraged them to come into the church with thesr con￿M$ attended to Lwt in
largely informd manner as this has been found to be more appealing to this group of peop￿.
The Elderly
We made a few visits to the Nursing Homes around the thurch
Bible and Christlan Literature Outreach
We continue to embark on the distribution of free Bibles and Christian books.
Children
In the year, the church engaged the children in various activities on a monlhIy basis.
We invested In training interested children in musical instruments as a way of raising a crop of
instrumentalists forthe Church. This is an area of ongoing need, vthich we hoFe to continue
worf(ing cm.
The chiFdren who were making a transition from one level of education to another were given
some financial token and gifts as a way of encoLtraging them in their social and edueational
development.

Foreign s￿dents
We offered support to students coming into various universrties around us to alleviate their
struggle in setding dovm In their new environment Several of them were so supported that they
joined 117e Volunteer Group in Ihe church.
The support extended tr> them indude finding accommodation, how to navigale the system.
offering advice on getting jobs, among others.

The statement of the finan¢Fal activities shows a deficil of £2,778 and our net assets stand at £92.

My examination was carried out in accordance wth the General Directi￿S given by the
Charity Commtssion. An examination indudes a review of the accounting records kept by
