Treasurer's Report
The year has seen a decrease in attendances at services, althougyh voluntary income
(excluding donations and gifts) has remained fairly constant. Voluniary income and donations
are a vital part of our total income stream, and rLgular donations are extremely imwrtant as
they provide a source of income that is both regular and predictable.
We have provided a variety of platforn]s for these donaiions to be made, allowing the
recovery of Gift Aid. which is also an IM￿)rtant part of our income. We would encouragpe all
regTular donors to use one of these plaifonns, as our ability to rcover Gift Aid from cash
donations is always subject to statutory limits. The Parish Giving Scheme has attracted a
growing number of regular donors, and we encourage all new and regular donors to join Ihis
scheme, as it gjreatly streamlincs our administration, &s ￿'ell as the rew)rtingi and collLCtion of
Gifi Aid. The PGS scheme also olTers Ihe advaniagye of operaiing ai Lero cost to the parish.
whilst online and credit card donations atlracl a small commission, We therefore urge you to
review how you contribut¢ to IhL work of thL churLh and consider joininb¥ thL Parish Giving
Scheme.
The average donation by regular donors to one or more of our main regyular giving platfomis
was £16.51 per week. very close lo l&st yffdr's figure.
We would like to thank all our regular donors for their invaluable supp)rt, bui we do urge
those who are not regular donors to join one of these regular giving schemes to hL"Ip finance
the work of thc church.
Our online giving platfonn and credit card facility are also providing useful additional
income, particularly from non-regular attenders at services, or at special services such as
w¢ddingis and baplisms. Income from these sources was £1.689 in Ihe year, sligihtly higher
than year last year.

insurance costs. With some 130 services durin8 the ycar across our thre¢ churchcs, this
