**Objects:** 1. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO POETRY2. TO ENCOURAGE THE ENJOYMENT, APPRECIATION AND PRACTICE OF LITERATURE, THE BENEFICIARIES BEING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES THROUGHOUT HAMPSHIRE.

**Activities:** The first major festival in the south of England dedicated to poetry.It is intended to celebrate poetry within a civic environment in order to ensure the widest possible degree of public awareness and enjoyment.The festival aims to establish a structure, style and necessary partnerships for it to become a biennial event after the inaugural festival of 2014.
