The Iruslees have o)nsidered UKEFF aclNities and athievements for the year and have given due consideralion to the Charity
Commission's published guidance on Ihe Public Benefit requiremenl under Ihe Charilies Aci 2011.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Our Oldham food aid hub also kntywn as the Centre of Wamth has provided a lifeline for many Oldham and Greater Manchester
resident5. This project was part funded by Cadent. helping us to establish a sustainable proie(l and CA)ver some of ourcore running
costs.
The food aid hub provides 8 holistic service to lamil*$ wth chikjren as well as singlè individual8 80me with complex health and
wellbeing needs.
We ttad 3200 beneficiaries throughout 2023. We provided 822 foc*1 par¢els whith benefitted 1801 téneficiaries and provided 75.642
meals. so that children were not going lo bed hungry.
We provided financial support of £64.238.10 to 818 reQ￿nts. benefrtting 1228 famity m¢mb&rs, induding the elderfy and children.
This support varied and includeil direct finanaal supwrt, household rtems. cloihing and f¢)od supt)tsrt.
Through the Oldham Coijncils Household Support Fund we distribuled £4,649.2910 55 recypients ascrisis orotherfinancial support.
This fund supportèd an overall 171 beneficianes which induded 112 children.
Some ol the other areas that we have supporled Ictal r￿MmunitieS was by providing welfare benefit advice, budgeting, money
management, and 5UPPOrt and advocacy servrns.
We celebialed 10 years ol UKEFF and used this year as an Op￿rtunity lo high1￿h1 all our successes in 5UPPOrting the community
in need. We highlighted how with the support ol staff and volunteers we had enabled and empowefed our seNice users to becom
self-sufficienl and no longer need our services.
Funding has increased during the year lo £237.124 PU22.' £163.7191.
RESERVES
In keeping with the Charities Commission guid8n¢e on resem$, the Board ha8 8 policy lo hold unrfjstricted reserves in order to
ensure the continued activities of the company in times of rod(b¢ed itKome.
STATEMENT OF TRUSTEE'S RESPONSIBILITIES

applicable law and UK GAAP.
