Beaminster Yarn Barton Community Centre serves as an information and services hub for Beaminster and the surrounding area. The centre is open every morning Monday - Saturday, and is a focal point providing information for residents and visitors. It delivers services on behalf of local authorities, supports its own activities and of community groups, advertises local events and provides room hire.

Objects: A) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Beaminster And Its Immediate Surrounding Area, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political Religious Or Other Opinions Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Related Community Activities With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.b) To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same (whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Person Or Body) In Furtherance Of These Objects.
