**Brief statement of the** The Trustees review the charity’s reserves policy regularly in the light of **charity’s policy on reserves** Charity Commission guidance. There are three categories of reserves held. **General funds** are undesignated, and the charity's policy is to endeavour to maintain these at a level of up to three months of regular church giving income. 

**Designated funds** arise from the setting aside of some general giving against the identified needs where required. These include maintaining a three-month operational costs contingency 

**Restricted funds** arise where gifts are received for specific purposes. Expenditure is distributed in line with these requirements.
