Trustees’ Report
The Trustees of Tehillah Praise Centre-UK (The TPC Family) takes pleasure in submitting their report, and accounts for the year ended 30th November 2020. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out on page 7 and comply with the statement of recommended practice.
Constitution, objective of the charity, principal activity, and organization of our work. The charity is constituted under a trust deed dated 22nd November 2012 as amended on the 13[th ] of February 2018 with UK registered charity no. 1150866. The objectives of the charity as set out in Declaration of trust are:

To advance the Christian faith.

To relieve sickness and financial hardship

To promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, including through the provision of counselling and support in such parts of the UK or the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit.

The Lord who began a good work with us, brought us to a successful end for the year under review. The TPC Family in the year of review was involved in both Christian outreach and general charitable programs in the United Kingdom and parts of Africa as a whole.
The Christian outreach programs were designed to increase Christian awareness and spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus

Christ while the general charitable programs involved education including the need for covid-19 vaccinations, safeguarding, dealing with depression, anxiety, loss of family members due to the pandemic and relief of poverty and community development.
Development activities and achievements:
The trustees are pleased to report that the Church has been successful spiritually by ministering to many people both members and non-member in our society.
Our Achievements:
The TPC Family in the year under review organized seminars/workshops where Christian values and morals were taught with the focus on healthy living (lifestyles) and good parenting in the society. Parents were advised to keep watch over their children and support them in doing their homework.
Social Media: Zoom, Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube.
The use of social media as an outreach medium, for Seminars and workshops was very successful through the year in review due to the Covid-19 pandemic and meeting places being closed to stop the spread of the virus.
1. The Use of Volunteers
In the year under review, we continued Multi-ethnic Cohesion Projects which aimed at helping to integrate in our community. Events that helped bring oneness and a sense of belonging in both our Church community and in the Society. During these projects, ONLINE talent training, musical workshops, virtual concert, and other entertainment activities were involved. Our FOOD bank project was a tremendous success supplying food three times a week throughout the year. We thank the Almighty God and also thank all the participants for the love and support throughout the project.
2. Women Ministry (Women of Praise):
The TPC Women Ministries’ Primary Task is to address the concerns and conditions of women of all ages in the congregation and community; that they may grow in their

understanding of God, themselves, others, and the world, so that their quality of life may be improved through a personal faith and growth as a disciple.
The Women’s general focus for the year under review was on the following:

✓ Studying the hopes, concerns, and needs of women in the congregation and community to determine how best to serve them and how they might best serve each other as Christian disciples and good neighbors.

✓ Becoming familiar with the overall vision and ministry goals of the congregation and established objectives to help achieve these goals through the congregation’s ministry with women.

✓ Plan and implement a varied and wide-ranging ministry with women, including worship, study, workshops/seminars, fellowship, and service opportunities.

✓ Identify, enlist, train and support leaders (e.g., group leaders, mission chair, etc.) for the congregation’s women ministries.
The women ministries are committed to ensuring the mission and ministry of the congregation are supported and strengthened.
Due to lack of full support in the women department, a new Women Coordinator was employed in the
year under review, to support the Women of Praise’ work in the United Kingdom. The ministry undertook various activities with the aim of helping married and single ladies to prepare for the unforeseen challenges in Marriage and relationship. The ministry in the year 2019 thrived beyond expectation and we believe the year to come will be amazing.
3. Men Ministry (Men of Mission):
The men ministry in the TPC Family is a fellowship which is called to lead in the campaign of restoration of purposes for Men to fulfil their God Calling. The ministry’s primary objective is to repair the breach and restore the broken walls, streets to our dwellings (house of the Lord). To establish foundations of many generations and build the old waste places through prayers and word of God. Guiding men grow spiritually to become watchmen of their

families, church (body of Christ) and true Disciples of Jesus Christ who will impact the society in the 21st Century.
The Men Ministry is within Tehillah Praise Centre-UK, but serve as a Non-Denominational Group open to All Men in our society and is committed:

✓ To encourage and lead every man to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
-
✓ To teach and enlighten men of their roles in families and in the body of Christ
-
✓ To stand in the gap for their families, the church and the land in prayers using the word of God.
The Fellowship also meets on the first Saturday of every month, to discuss member’s welfare, plan for community projects, study and meditate on the word of God, and occasionally hold special dinner meetings for members and visitors.
4. Youth Ministry:
The youth ministry in the year under review had two (0) Religious workers. Many Activities were organized online through the youth leaders in corroboration with the Executives/Trustees. Many families are joining our church due to the effectiveness of our youth advice services, after school homework club programs and other intervention activities available to them here in Tehillah Praise Centre.
5. Children Ministry:
- ✓ The Children of Zion (Children ministry) at The TPC Family has had a fundamental growth both in the intellectual knowledge of God and the physical and social growth of our children. This Ministry received three more additional Volunteers to assist the Children’s Pastor in continues support of fun filled activities which have encouraged parents to join our online sessions. The great increase in the church children department is amazing having tripled due to our online activities and presence.

✓ In the year under review, learning, teaching materials and activities were planned and prepared before each service for effective delivery of the lessons. Lessons are researched and taught to the children with the aim of their wholesome growth with more emphasis on their spiritual growth. The children’s ministry Pastor, in collaboration with the Patron researched on the curriculum that would grow and guide the children in the way of our Lord. As it is written, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”(Proverbs 22:6).

✓ A big salutation to Elohim for granting us our daily desire and a big thank you to the Resident Pastor, Reverend Isaac Benjamin Tay, the Patron of the children ministry, Mrs. Christina Tay, the entire children ministry workers and volunteers, who worked tirelessly to make our visions and goals a success.
6. Tuesdays Counselling and Advice Services:
Through our Tuesdays and Thursdays Counselling and Advice services, we have supported the sick, poor, needy and others facing divorce, separation and various crisis in life. These were achieved through the introduction of our Hope line in order to avoid face to face contact.
7. Wednesdays Discipleship:
The TPC Family Wednesdays discipleship program has opened great doors for many people within our community to be informed about the divine knowledge of God. The discipleship program is open to all who pre-register.
8. Welfare Program:
Through our Welfare programs, donations have been given in Support of the less privileged within our community. The beneficiaries are those who do not have access to public funds for a variety of reasons and this is a valuable means of support until their financial situation changes. The Church continue in its free distribution of food and

household products through our food bank, many of these items were donated by the local church
community through their freewill offering (with the assistance of individual church and non-church members). Rent support and cash donations were given to underprivileged families and individuals.
9. Established Church Branches:
Through the help of God, new branches of The TPC Family were established in Ghana. These branch churches are fully registered with the government of Ghana.
✓ Ghana Branch:
Even though the branch church in Ghana is fully registered with the government of Ghana, they are still operating as a satellite branch until we can secure church premises where its charitable purposes, aim and objective can be fulfilled.
10. Missionary assignment:
The Church through its missionary assignment has established a Welfare funds program for vulnerable people who are heavy laden and are seeking God but are deprived of spiritual and physical assistance in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and in Zimbabwe. Through our financial and aid support to these countries, the Organization has successfully helped many orphans, widows and the destitute through relief of poverty and community development programs during the year of review.

✓ The TPC Family supports both the spiritual and physical wellbeing of the children and young people in these African countries through educational programs such as after school homework clubs, distribution of learning materials, prayer, and counselling sessions.

✓ The sick and vulnerable people and members have been supported through our volunteer scheme project. Our Charity/volunteer workers assists the sick in washing their clothes (laundry), transporting those who are unable to come for our services due to lack of transport and shopping for them, taking them for a walk, to recreation centres and church activities.

11. Corroboration:
The TPC Family is in partnership with the Organization for Better Environment and Childcare (OBECC), are still working in a corroboration to help and support families with children and young people in Derby, Derbyshire, Wolverhampton and midlands.
Through the Year of review, we have seen many Christians and non-Christians join our virtual services and many rededicated their lives to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are still praying for the peace of the United Kingdom and the UK law makers to be filled with the knowledge and wisdom of the Almighty God.
Review of the financial position The charity made a deficit for the year amounting to £36,110.

I report on the accounts of the church for the year ended 30[th] November 2020 set out on the following pages which have been prepared on the basis of their accounting policies shown in the corresponding pages.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The trustees of the church are responsible for the preparation of the accounts: they consider that the audit requirement under section 43(2) of the charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act), does not apply. It is my responsibility to:

Examine the accounts under section 43(3) of the 1993 Act.

Follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissions made under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act.

State whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent examiner’s report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the church and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently i do not express and audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

1. Accounting Policies
(a) Accounting basis
These accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis under section 42(3) of the charities Act 1993 ad the statement of Recommended Practice on Accounting by Charities published in March 2008. The adoption of the revised SORP has resulted in reclassification of some items.
(b) Incoming resources i) Voluntary income
Voluntary income is received by way of Tithes offerings, donations and gifts and is included in full in the Statement of Financial Activities when receivable.
(c) Resources expended All expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis.
(d) Cash Flow
The church has taken advantage of the exemptions in Financial Reporting Standard No 1 from the requirement to produce a cash flow statement on the grounds that it is a small church.
