be in a position lalef in the year lo push on with trwo fundrasing evenls. the Waniors Walk arKI the UK
Red Great North Ride. The W*riors Wak er￿ed fomier player¥ to back together and take on
the Yorkshire Three Peaks chalkrye.. 26 miies of mountainous lerraui a chalknge tr most but

Fortunately, the walkers rose to the task supEtbly. working to complete the challenge and
enjoy what proved to be a trem￿d0￿$ eyw1￿.
The Greal North Rrde was a 220-mrle thr*day b￿e rwle from Whilehaven on the west coast to the
North Sea resort of T￿Mouth that generated over £15.￿)0 for the charity and was a gentle stepping
stone for all those that who had commirted to the delayed Empift State 500 thallenge in the summer
of 2021

After almost 1.8 months Ofw0￿ abngside the RFL and othets. the spNt's much cefebraled plans for
National Rugby League Museum lo be hwsed wrthin the historic George Hotel in Huddersfield were
dashed when lfjrklees council reneged on its agreemenl and withdrew its support This left the project
without any realistic prospect of contjnuing in the West YoFkshire town. Followsng the disappointment,
the Iritstees have initiated a re¥iew irrto the feasblity of this Project
Flnancial revlew
The Chafity made grants of £59,650 in the year (202tr. £165.550}. The surplus for the year erKled 31
December 2021 was £94.014 {2020: £17.016) leaNiry the Chwity whh net assets of £262.614 * 31
December 2021 (2020". £168.6001.
