Sunday Venue
Our weekly Sunday Moming Gathering has conlinued to be at Foleshll Comrnunty Cenlre (157 Foleshill Road.
Coventry. CVS 6HW) - a pla¢e from which we also run our Grow￿"d$ ministry. Our move to the neighbourhood of
Foleshill has enabled u5 to develop our cornrnitment lo being a more multiujttural church. We have seen a greater
diversity in those allending our Sunday Moming Gatherings and have made sMJnlf￿nt steps lo engage wrth Ihe
Foleshill Community through our Messy Church and Community Lunch on the first Sunday of each month. The
Sunday Moming Gathering remains a key and Important element of in-person gatherin9 and corporate worship and
¢rea(es a space for peo to expenen¢¢ the lrfe ¢hangin9 presen¢e of Jesus. be encwraged and equbpped to live
as followers of Jesus.

In the summer of 2024, Ihe Senior Past¢X5 IN￿k 8 Vi¢ki Sutton) took a Sabbalical. Our new As51$1ant Pastor was
appointed just ahead of this, who worked alongside our existing Lile Group Leaders and Core Leaders lo lead the
chuich during this time.
Worship
Encouraging worship, both ¢orporate sung wotship and individual worship in everyday lives. continues to be a

Our youth group 15 for young people in year 6 to year 10 (11-15 years old). The youth group is based around bible

young people to the youth chri5ts.an festival 'Dreaming the Impossible, in August alongside Bimiingham Vineyard.

supporting children in their eartiest yea¥s, and are hopeful that Ihis will improve their chan¢e5 01 reaching their full
potential In the lutUTe. We seek to empower 1amil￿S and help them realise theiT poleNial by encouraging them to
volunteer on our team and become part of the solution. We gratefulty receive donations from our farnilie5 when they
outgrow items. helping them feel they are contribulin9 to the solution and helpiThJ olher families in need loo.
Over the last finanual year we have helped 156 familie5 {including 101 new famil￿5). donating around 9,750 ilemsl
INe have haé 29 families come lo our Stay & Play without recerving donalions. Eath 5èss10n is run by around 10
volunteers, several of whorn corne from QLtside the church and have re¢eived support from Growkids themselves.

We conts'nue lo train and release new vdunleer leaders. Coventry Vineyard is indebted to the volunteer5 that make
'ministry' happen and enable us to meet our chafitable objedNes. Our volunteers give a substantial amount of lime
and energy and ale cornrnitted lo the vision of Coventy Vineyard. and to see INes changed by the person of Christ
and power of His Kingdom.

In January 2025 we ran Alpha - an 11-week course that rjeales a space where peO￿e tan have eonversats.ons
about fa￿h, lrfe and Gtxl. 18 People attended this course.
In January 2025 we started a new ¢ohort of Vineyard Leadership Essenlials iVLg - a monthly training course that
covers many of the mosl inwortani and foundaty.onal aspea$ of ￿aderShiP. We currenily have 10 people Signed up
for VLE.

address some of the most cornrnon causes of povety.. debl. unernploymenl, addiction, low income. and difficulty
budgeting.
Community Projects
Messy Chur¢h - Messy Church consists of crafts and actiirities around a bibli￿1 therne, fdlowed by a celBbr•litsn
and a lunch. This is mainly aimed towards families with primary s¢hool aged ki¢Js, however all are welcome. Messy
Church exis15 to encourage 5Plritual. emolK)nal. an¢ swal development like our Sunday moming kids groups. It
also aim5 lo be fun and t¥Jild community- Me55y Churth aims lo be a(xessible to non-thurthpd lamdie$.
Community Lunch - Every month we provide a simple lunch for those in the Foleshill Area. Thi5 creates an
environment fDr developing ￿mmUn￿Y and provides a heathy meal for families and individuals who may be
struggling with the cost of liwng. This is also a wonderful opportunty for members of Coventry Vineyard to invite
friends and neighbouTS to experien￿ a ￿ltUre of grd¢e and ge￿rosIty.

Coventry Vineyard raised and donated funijs for the relLef of the poor and needy in Coventry and around the wod*J.
