We are thus indebted to Bradford Council for their continued financial support. which remained at
£15.000 per annum for this year. We believe that this is incredibly good value for the District in terms
of the economic benefrt that our events generate through hotel bookings, the patronage of pubs, cafes
and ￿$tauran1S in the 8radford area. Our events are visited by a wide sele¢b"on of diverse
communities across the UK and internationally and we cre8te a very positNe image of the Bradford
area that can only generate further opportunities for tr)urisrn in BD25 and beyond.
Cash in the bank at the end of 2023 was £12,512 that shows an increase of £8,892 against the
equivalent value of £3,620 8t the end of 2022 and reflects our policy of trying to bolster our
post£OVID reserves to make ourselves more financially robust and resilient in the fubjre. These
values also demonstrate the importance of the Council's grant to our ongoing operations.
Our income rose from £52,389 in 2022 to £71.077 in 2023 as a result of increases in visttor income,
sale5 and artists fe8s and the awaré of Arts Council of England grants of £16,886.
Our expenditure rose from £59,281 in 2022 to £65,698 in 2023. The combined effects of these
changes resulted in us generating a £5.379 SUTplus net income in 2023 compared to 8 £6,829 deficit
