**Objects:** TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 25 (AND THEIR FAMILIES) LIVING IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN LAMBETH, WANDSWORTH, SOUTHWARK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF:(1) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;(2) ADVANCING EDUCATION;(3) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT;(4) PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS;(5) PREVENTING CRIME BY UNDERTAKING ACTIVITIES THAT REDUCE OFFENDING AND RE-OFFENDING.

**Activities:** Carney's Community services the local communities of Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark.  It aims to reduce offending, re-offending and anti-social behaviour whilst improving social mobility and community cohesion.  Its services are targeted at young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.  The charity aims to achieve its objectives through mentoring and participation in boxing programmes.
