IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE CHARTERED SOCIETY WILL:3.1 PROMOTE PUBLIC AND PROFESSIONAL AWARENESS, GOOD PRACTICE AND STANDARDS; AND 3.2 RESEARCH AND ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE SCIENCE OF OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND HYGIENE IN PARTICULAR BY OPERATING A PROFESSIONAL FACULTY.

**Activities:** British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), is a professional organisation representing occupational hygienists, promoting  awareness of occupational hygiene and the underpinning medical, scientific and engineering issues.  It offers qualifications, regulates the profession of occupational hygienists, improves knowledge and understanding through conferences and publications.
