**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS OF FAMILIES AND THEIR CLOSE FRIENDS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND WHERE APPROPRIATE WORLDWIDE WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE BEREAVEMENT OF A CHILD OR HAVE A CHILD SUFFERING FROM A LIFE LIMITING OR LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS BY THE PROVISION OF CHARITABLE MEANS THAT THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE PROVISION OF RESPITE ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND SUPPORT.

**Activities:** Reuben's Retreat will be a home-from-home for families coping with the serious illness of a child, providing respite breaks and the chance to build happy memories.  We already provide support, counselling and well-being for children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness (medical complexities) and their parents and siblings, and for families bereaved of a precious child.
