| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Supporting six Ministry Trainees at Christ Church Southampton, in providing grants to support their study and pastoral care work and in supporting local churches. As the pastor and his family could not initially move to the area due to a lack of housing, the trust prompted a fundraising effort to supplement the trust in acquiring a manse property, with this assistance facilitating the pastor and family move and work in the local church community. |

Financial Review
| Financial Review | ||
|---|---|---|
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 | The trustees meet twice yearly and regularly communicated by predominantly emails and occasional messaging. This time is to review commitments on a rolling year basis. We consider we have funds in hand to meet obligations undertaken. These have resumed to expected levels in the current year to pre-pandemic levels, though Ministry Trainees more self-funded, travel and course expenses have resumed. Rent for the manse provides adequate coverage for the interest loan taken out **for theproperty. ** |
| Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held |
Para 1.22 | Reserves are held because income is not guaranteed from year to year and the trust wishes to be able to assure assistance where required. As noted in previous years as an anticipation, a purchase of property was made with some of the trusts finances, as well as some reserves still held in ongoing provision of grants to support Ministry Training and other purposes. |
