OKIECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives and aims
The purpose of the charity is making grants to charities. although no reslriction as io types of charities. priority given lo
medical. children's, young people's, Tnilitary. Christian. caring and educational charitie5 and io charitie5 based in, or
involved in, pmjects in the UK Midlands.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable activities
IT] the year ending 31 March 2025 The Brian Shaw Memorial Trust hal'e been able lo make Some 48 grdnts totalling
£49,650. We have mainly focused on charities that work within the West Midlands but have also recognised the needs of
the wider UK and world community and have made grant5 to charities thai carry oul work throughout the UK and
inteTnationally.
Investment performance
The investments are held by a UK investment company who manages the funds on behalf of the charity. In the year
investment income of £57.662 was earned. The value of the investment fwld increased by £2.345 in the year.

year ended 31 March 2025.

As the charity t￿Stee5 of the Trn8t you are resrKynsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 Imhe ACV).
I report in respect of my examination of the TDJst's accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and in carrying out
my examination I have followed all applicable DiT￿tionS given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5)Ib) of
Ihe Acl.

I have completed rny examination. I confiml that no material matters have come lo my attention in connection with the
examination giving me cause ￿ believe that in any material respect..

the accounts do not accord with those records- or
