Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
The Danny Green Fund has continued to provide support for children
suffering from Posterior Fossa Syndrome as the result of a brain tumour
throughout the UK. We expect the increase in referrals received in 2025
to continue into 2026.
The charity has seen very positive results from the therapies that we
have provided this year. The children taking part have continued to show
increased balance, core strength and mobility which will ultimately help
them to achieve their goals of becoming more independent and waking
unaided once again. We aim to continue these therapies going forward.
We are also looking to increase the variety of therapies that we are able
to offer going into 2026.
The charity has received fundraising donations from organisations
outside of our immediate area therefore spreading awareness of the
work of the charity.
The Posterior Fossa Syndrome parents support group on Facebook
continues to be a great success in offering help and support for parents
with children suffering from PFS in the UK and from around the world.
We have created an increased awareness of the signs and symptoms of a
brain tumour through our fundraising and our social media, highlighting
the need for safer less toxic treatments and to ultimately find a cure for
this devastating disease. The charity has once again sponsored days of
dedicated brain tumour research at Queen Mary University to hopefully
help find a cure.
The charity has continued to receive revenue and created increased
awareness through individual fundraising, through just giving, PayPal and
through our Social Media sites, which we hope will continue in 2025/26.
The charity held our yearly charity ball once again this year which was a
great success.
