STFIUCTURE. GOVERNANCE and MANAGEMENT.
The original charity was established as an unincorporated entity in May 2012. On 18th July 2012,
the charity registered as a charitable company limited by guarantee { Company number
81447406) and is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association . On 2nd January
2013, charity status was confirmed by the Charity Comission under registration number -
1150314
Since the charity was founded, significant success has been achieved in improvlng and
maintaining the shelters abroad, spaying thousands of dogs - in order to reduce stray dog
population , education campaigns and raising awareness of the Charity's work. It remains and
ongoing task to attract the income required to maintain and improve current cultures and
mindsets as well as reducing the overpopulation of homeless animals
The trustees who served during the year were:
Mrs Victoria Featherstone Pearce, Mrs Paulina Holt, Mrs Rebecca Smith, Mr F Torrance.
V Featherstone Pearce and P Holt are the remaining co-founders of the charity with another co-
founder Anneka Tanaka (resigned July 2014)
Victora is a vegan and keen animal rights activist fronting many animal rights campaigns for PETA
and Animal Aid. She is a model and appeared in many commercials and products such as
Guinness and Birds Eye peas. A mum to 8 dogs, five of which are K-9 Angels rescues .
Paulina known as POLA is a singer, recording artist and music writer . She is passionate about
animal welfare and wants to make a difference. Her dream is to live in a world where people adopt
rather than shop for animals.
Both founders use their media presence to highlight the plight and suffering of homeless and stray
dogs with the aim to garner both celebrity and public support to help relieve their suffering. Their
role within the charity is general management, PR, fundraising and fostering.
Fergus Torrence joined the charity as a Trustee in June 2015. He is a devout dog lover and has
independently rescued dogs from streets of Greece and he has adopted four dogs from the
horrific Breasta shelter through K-g Angels. He brings a wealth of business experience and
networking connections . His role is general management.
The management of charity is the responsibility of the Trustees who are elected under the terms
of the Articles of Association. The charity does not have any staff and is very fortunate to have
hard working dedicated trustees who work in voluntary capacity. The number of trustees shall be
a minimum of three and maximum of 9, unless otherwise decided by the company in a general
meeting. Trustees can be appointed for a period of one to 5 years and can be re appointed at the
end of their term. The charity endeavours to recruit trustees through our volunteers who
complement and fit within the charity and provide needed skill sets.

The charity is aided and supported by volunteers and a network of rescuers in both UK and
abroad . K-9 Angels could not exist without the help and support provided by numerous
dedicated volunteers who carry out a variety of roles and work tirelessly to support the charity
with a variety of activities.. fostering . animal care, animal behaviour advice. fundraising,
