Discussions with the planners regarding the provision of changing facilities on the field to enable the playing of team sports have continued. The associated fund raising has commenced. In the meantime, the directors will encourage the widest use of the field consistent with the constraint that a lack of permanent facilities brings.

Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Civil Parish Of Chale Defined By Red Edging On The Plan Annexed To These Articles("the Area Of Benefit")without Distinction Of Sex,sexual Orientation,race Or Of Political,religious Or Other Opinion By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities,voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation,leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions For The Said Inhabitants And In Particular To Establish,or Secure The Establishment Of,a Recreation Ground And To Manage The Same(whether Alone Or In Cooperation With Any Local Authority Or Any Other Person Or Body)in Furtherance Of These Objects And Remaining Non-Party In Politics And Non-Sectarian In Religion To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes For The Area Of Benefit As May From Time To Time Be Determined.
