**Objects:** 1 TO PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP AMONGST THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC MEMORIAL TO COMMEMORATE AND REMEMBER THOSE NURSES WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THE PUBLIC DURING THE FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WARS.2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE ROLE OF NURSES DURING THE FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WARS IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING A ROLL OF HONOUR OF THOSE NURSES AND SUCH OTHER ARCHIVED MATERIAL INCLUDING MEMORIES OF THEIR WORK.3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF NURSES BY PROVIDING A SCHOLARSHIP TO ENABLE THEM TO STUDY PARTICULAR ASPECTS OF CONFLICT AND HUMANITARIAN AID AND NURSING.

**Activities:** The charity seeks to enhance awareness of the role of VAD nurses who gave their lives during both World Wars, and to advance the education of nurses today.  Activities include establishing a public memorial (at the National Memorial Arboretum); creating a roll of honour (on the charity&#x27;s website); educating the public; supporting the education of nurses through individual study grants.
