## **Commentary on Isaiah Wealth Ministry's Trustees Annual Report Accounts:**

Isaiah Wealth Ministry's Trustees Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of the organisation's financial activities, governance structures, and achievements over the reporting period. Here's a detailed commentary on key aspects of the report:

## **Structure and details of how it is managed.**

At Isaiah Wealth Ministry, we operate the following structure.

The head of the church is Reverend Emmanuel Ozemwogie, who is also a trustee. He oversees the operations of the church as well as its members welfare. He preaches in all church services which holds very Sunday, Wednesday, and Fridays. He also avails himself for daily counselling of members.

Under his leadership we have sub-area pastors who cater for the members who are apportioned to them by the Reverend. At the time of this report of we have 7 Area pastors. Under these areas’ pastors, we have House of prayer leaders, who attend directly to the members and ensure that all their spiritual needs are met; such as prayers, counselling, help with getting back to work, visitation and more.

We also have heads of departments within the church who support in helping members get integrated with our church through their participation in the department of their choice. Such as the choir, ushering, greeters, protocol, and prayer team.

## **How we recruit trustees**

Our trustees are a vital part of our success as a church. In recruiting trustees, we assess the skills gap needed in the church. We then approach the potential candidate within the church and explain what is required of them and ask them if they would like to volunteer with us. These candidates are further assessed to ensure that they don’t have any criminal records, have a good understanding of what the church needs and have faith in God; is a person of good character, and integrity. The two current trustees we have are dependable and are of good report. Yetunde Duke is a qualified GP at NHS hospital in Hemel Hempstead, while Rev Emmanuel is a college Lecturer supporting young people in the college and a Gem specialist.

## **Our activities and objectives in the year**

Isaiah Wealth Ministry is committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at our church and to become part of our community. Our head pastor maintains an overview of worship throughout the church and makes suggestions on how our services can involve the many groups that live within our community. Our services and worship put faith into practice through prayer and scripture, and music.

When planning our activities for the year, the incumbent pastor and the top leaders have considered the Commission’s guidance on public benefit, and particularly the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion. We try to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our community through:

Worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel; and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Provision welfare support for members within and without; and missionary and outreach work.

## **Achievements and Performance**

Worship and Prayer

Isaiah Wealth Ministry is keen to offer a range of services during the week and over the course of the year that our community find both beneficial and spiritually fulfilling. For example, evening prayers provide a quiet, intimate and reflective environment for worship whilst opportunities are provided for people to engage in more outgoing worship such as that provided by the youth group within our church.

This year we have been successful in welcoming more families into our church. This has meant that special arrangements have had to be made for children section, children Sunday school volunteers, baptisms, baby dedications and for welcoming the families at corporate worship every Sunday. It is pleasing to be able to report that the new arrangements have been well received since they came into operation during September. They will be reviewed by the Pastor after 12 months.

In addition, a great deal of time and thought was spent during the year on making best use of the new services. Many have said how much easier it is to follow the services now that they are available thrice a week and online; especially for those who work on Sundays. We also offer online discipleship and bible study classes for those who want more time and help in studying God’s word. All are welcome to attend our regular services.

As well as our regular services, we enable our community to celebrate and thank God at the milestones of the journey through life. Through baptism we thank God for the gift of life, in marriage public vows are exchanged with God’s blessing and through funeral services friends and family express their grief and give thanks for the life which is now complete in this world and to commend the person into God's keeping. We have celebrated 15 baby dedications and 3 weddings.
