At present thc church is Icad by two elders & thrcc deacons. Mr. Jonathan
Bayes( Pastor). and MT Brian wade.are the elders and Mr Malcolm Hulland. Mr J
Raivson arKJ Mr Philip Hulland the deacons. In August 2023 Mr Simon Walsh
resigned as elder on his move io Northern Ireland. In De£embei 2023 MTS Judith
Baker took over as treasurer from Mr Wadc. Mr Wade. Mr Malcolm Ilulland and Mrs
Baker are trustees. In addition the following are Trustees. Mr T Baker. Mr C B￿ler,
Mr G Fjriddon and Mrs N Briddon. Mr s ford. Mr B Gadsby. Mr C 14irsL Mr T
Holmes. Mrs V Ilulland. Mr K Young & Mrs li Young.
The gboverning document of the chapel is the Trust Deed . On a day to day b&81

supreme authonty of the Bible.

Gospel. primarily bul noi ¢xtylusively within Stanton Lees. Matlock and the
surrounding disirict. How it does this is outlined belovi.

and from the Whitworth Centre in nearby Darley Dale.

* An annual Bible sch￿1. extending oi'er thrtt days. attended by people Irom all over
the UK.
* WavtindLrs A iveekly youih group calering for primary children from the
surrounding area. We continue to r&icb young people whose parents have no present
connection with th¢ church.
To all church actlVRti¢s visitors ar¢ made m051 welwme.
All those involved with children have b¢¢n subject to DBS checks.
The chap¢l premi￿ continue to be used by the Parish Council for their meetings and
for eleciions.

The Church takes every opwrtullity ￿ preach th¢ Gos￿7 e$￿claI1Y to those in the
Immediate vicinity. "i'he annual Bible W¢¢k¢nd held over the August Bank
Holiday and was very well attended.
We are much encouraged by giM)d conbFrebvation5 with many young people.
Mission
The church continues to supp)rt prdyerfulty and financially two rnissionaries whose
field of 5L'rvicc is among the Sakha peopve of Siberia Also suptM)rted is a church plant
in inner city. D¢fby thal works among people of many nationalities.
Financial Review
Freewill offeringis and gjifts including Oift Aid amounted to £48,932.
During 2023 the church received a total income of £56,428 s￿￿1¢1cnt to maintain the
chur¢h fabri¢ in good order and to finance all its activities. Ciifts madc. oul of income
and reserves, lo various mi&sionary organisations. to individual missi(maries, the
Chri5'1ian Institute and sUp￿)rt for the church plant tn Derbv tothllL.d £8.570.
Total expenditure amounted to £61.305 including gifts.
