The Charity has continued to discharge its primary purpose of providing sporting and recreational facilities for the people of Shurdington. Cricket and Football teams continue to make full use of the facilities during their respective seasons and the children’s playground has been well used during good weather.
In conjunction with our local authority (Tewkesbury Borough Council) we have developed a plan for significant improvements to our sporting facilities and the children’s playground over the next few years. This will be primarily funded by grants made to the charity by the Borough Council. Our normal sources of income have remained at the same level as in previous years and we expect that to continue in the current year.
