The principal activity of Global H2O (UK) is to raise funds and to provide clean drinking water for those in need, principally in Northern Uganda. Global H2O is registered with the UK charities commission (no. 1149984).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the special provisions in part 15 of Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).
For the year ending 31 December 2023, the company was entitled to exemption from audit, in accordance with sections 475 and 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies and no notice has been deposited under Section 476 of the Act.
The trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
The financial statements were approved by the board of trustees on 23 September 2024.

- Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (Effective April 2008).
Donations
The donations shown in the profit and loss account represent donations received during the period.
2. Taxation
The company is not subject to taxation.
3. Trustees’ remuneration
No trustees received remuneration during the period.
4. Employees
The company has no employees.
5. Share capital
The company is limited by guarantee and consequently does not have share capital.
6. Post balance sheet events
There were no post-balance sheet date events which would have an impact on the financial statements.
